Dr Benjamin will be gathering delayed intervention data for Grade 1 learners who participated in the project in Grade R in 2011.
The BCP is one of five components of the Ikwezi Project. External evaluation of the Ikwezi Project by JCM Research and Evaluation Services found that:-
Registration open for our annual open public training course in Johannesburg and Cape Town. All are welcome to attend. The training courses are SACE accredited.

A majority (69%) of learners who participated in the BCP in 2011 in Grade R were found to be prepared for learning in Grade 1 in 2012 - See image below.

The course was clear, open and easy to understand basic concepts. What I liked most was that it links with the curriculum and it really works. It needs to be implemented at my centre.
